Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The role focuses on automating cloud infrastructure, improving CI/CD processes, and ensuring seamless deployment and delivery of applications. This engineer will collaborate with developers, architects, and IT operations teams to support modern application delivery using cloud-native technologies and DevOps methodologies.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), automation tools, configuration management, and performance monitoring solutions. This role will play an integral part in driving infrastructure scalability, enhancing development workflows, and maintaining uptime of cloud-hosted workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and enhance continuous integration and deployment pipelines to support fast, reliable software releases.

  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop automated scripts using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates) to manage scalable cloud environments.

  • Cloud Platform Configuration: Set up, configure, and optimize cloud infrastructure services and components across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Monitoring & Analytics: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or ELK stack to ensure proactive issue resolution.

  • Security & Compliance: Enforce DevSecOps best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, vulnerability remediation, and compliance audits.

  • Deployment & Release Automation: Support automated deployment strategies such as Blue/Green, Canary, and Zero Downtime implementations.

  • Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Analyze environment performance issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve incidents rapidly.

  • Collaboration & Support: Partner with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, reduce friction, and enable faster delivery cycles.

  • Containerization & Orchestration: Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, automation scripts, and cloud configurations.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, DevOps, or related field.

  • Technical Skills & Experience:

    • 3–6 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.

    • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services and architecture.

    • Hands-on work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

    • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.

    • Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Puppet, Chef).

    • Strong scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Security & Governance: Familiarity with cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, etc.).

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

    • Problem-solving aptitude and analytical thinking

    • Ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional environments

  • Preferred Certifications:

    • AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional

    • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

    • Google Professional DevOps Engineer
